‘reCaptcha’, ephemeral multimedia installation/performance — a playful exploration of the idea of humanly-designed humanity signifiers:

• empty utility room walls completely covered in artisanal laser printed wallpaper
• captcha (“completely automated public Turing test to tell computers and humans apart”) screen captures
• photographs of deceased persons’ names carved on tombstones
• disco lights machine
• iPhone playing The Killers song, Human

The work was presented as a single public performance. Installed in a locked utility room, the doors would only stay open for the duration of the song.
